ASSIGNMENT 1 ; ASSESSING THERMAL COMFORT AND DAYLIGHT IN MODERN HOUSES
Completing the assignment on assessing daylight and thermal comfort in modern housing was a revealing journey for my group. Focusing on a double-storey semi-detached house, we recognized the prevalent issues of inadequate natural light and thermal discomfort.
Through fieldwork and data collection, including lux readings and temperature measurements, we gained insights into the existing conditions. Our brainstorming sessions yielded innovative passive design interventions tailored to our chosen spaces.

Overall, this assignment deepened our understanding of passive design's role in enhancing living conditions while promoting energy efficiency. It equipped us with valuable skills applicable to real-world architectural practice.
ASSIGNMENT 2; CASE STUDY - GREEN BUILDINGS IN MALAYSIA
Completing the assignment on investigating green buildings has been an enlightening experience for my group. As the world increasingly prioritizes sustainability, understanding the environmental strategies employed in these structures is paramount.Our journey began with collaborative research on accredited green buildings, delving into their energy performance and environmental considerations. We selected Menara Kerja Raya for an in-depth case study, aiming to extract valuable insights into its design and sustainability features.
We meticulously gathered data and statistics, emphasizing energy efficiency, comfort, and health aspects.
Creating the A1 poster and 1-minute video was a creative endeavor to share our findings. We highlighted the significance of sustainable practices in architecture, advocating for their role in climate change mitigation.
Overall, this assignment deepened our appreciation for green building initiatives and their potential to create healthier, more sustainable environments. It underscored the importance of promoting sustainable practices in architecture for a greener future.
